DEFENCE personnel can now record and update their next-of-kin (NOK) contact details using PMKeyS Self Service (PSS).

PMKeyS is the sole source of emergency and NOK contact data for Defence and is the authoritative source of data referred to in times of crisis.

Nominated NOK must be aged over 18, have knowledge of family dynamics and be able to provide contact details of other family members that require formal notification.

To record a new contact or identify an existing contact as your NOK, log on to PSS on the DRN, click on My Personal Data and then Emergency Contacts.
