Biathlon squad
ARMY Nordic Skiing Association is putting together and training a biathlon squad for an inter-service competition at Mt Hotham, August 5-17. Interservice basketball
ACT/ Wagga interservice Basketball Competition will be held in Canberra from July 28-29, 2007. Interested Army personnel should contact Sgt Lucas Telley at l.telley@adfa.edu.au.

Mountain bikers
The Australian Defence Cycle Club is calling for entries for the 2007 Australian 24-hour mountain bike race at Canberra’s Mount Stromlo from October 13-14. Riders of all levels of ability are encouraged to nominate. Riders must have a serviceable mountain bike, Australian Standards-compliant bicycle helmet and, preferably, front and rear lights. Women’s footy
The Australian Services Australian Football Association’s women’s All Stars team will clash with state teams in the women’s championships in Canberra. The matches will be held at ADFA and RMC ovals on July 9 and 13, and at Manuka oval on July 12. The final will be held at Manuka oval on July 14. The ADF Sailing Association will enter a Defence team in the 2008 World Masters Laser Championships at Terrigal, on the NSW Central Coast, in February next year.
