Calling all snow fans |

THE Army Alpine Snowsports Association will defend all four team trophies at this year’s inter-Service titles and is seeking male and female skiers and snowboarders for its annual championships at Mt Buller in Victoria from July 29 to August 5. Races conducted by the Mt Buller race department will enable an Army team to be selected to compete in the following week’s ADF Inter-Services Championships. AAASA president Maj Murray Nelson said all levels of skiers and boarders would be catered for and professional race coaching would be provided. Races include slalom and giant slalom races as well as a boarder cross event. The inter-Services will also include a Super G. Competitors will be required to contribute about $700-$800 towards accommodation, rationing, race fees, coaching and lift tickets.
