Van Morrison: At the Movies – Soundtrack Hits
Van Morrison
EMI

THIS latest release from Van Morrison covers some of his better known songs produced and performed by him between 1964 and the present. Each of the 19 tracks have featured in movies such as Bridget Jones’ Diary, Born on the Fourth of July and The Departed. It includes studio and live performances, including a fantastic version of Comfortably Numb performed with Roger Waters. An essential volume for fans or want-to-be fans of Van Morrison wishing to have the privilege of owning a large portion of his better work on one disk.

TV Rock
Compilation
Sony BMG

IF you are looking for an album to listen to when you are working out then this is the one for you.
TV Rock certainly rocks with an excellent mix of beats.
Featuring the hit Flaunt It and the amusing Bimbo Nation, this album will satisfy most people who are into the up-beat tempo of dance music.
I love the smooth sound of New Day, though I’m not really into some of the hip-hop sounding tracks on the album such as Hip House is Back.
For the price of the album, I expected a few more tracks than the 11 that are included.
