THE National ADF Australian Football Championship is to be held in Canberra from April 16-20, 2007. Both army men and women’s teams are challenging to regain the interservice cup against the RAN and RAAF at the national level. The Army Australian Football Association (AAFA) congratulates all those Army footballers who have reached the pinnacle of Army Australian football in previous years, as AAFA now calls for nominations for players to compete in the 2007 national carnival. A number of regional trial matches are planned in early 2007 for those interested in competing for the Army team. Members wishing to nominate for selection as players for the 2007 teams should contact: men WO2 A Wilson 0404 895 145 and women WO2 Kim Beasland (02) 8831 2225.


ADFA Rams coaching positions

The ADFA Rams Australian Football Club is looking for coaches for 2007. Applicants need to understand the training requirements of ADFA cadets and midshipmen and have current level one coaching accreditation with a minimum of two years’ experience at senior level.
