ACT titles a washout for Army

ARMY had to be content with third at the ACT Interservices Series cricket championship at Kingston Oval in Canberra from October 31-November 2.

A lunchtime downpour and a resolute innings by Navy on the final day’s play secured them the title.

The match was declared a draw around lunch-time on the final day with a storm making the ground unsafe for play after Navy had completed its innings at 215.

Air Force had also easily surpased Army’s 130 in 26 overs during their match.
