Triathlon meeting

THE Australian Services Triathlon Association (ASTA) Executive Committee will hold a meeting to address outstanding ASTA issues, especially in regards to 2006/07 activities. Football officials

ADF Football Federation (soccer) is seeking applications for positions at the 2006 ADF National Football Carnival, Parramatta ,NSW, October 28-November 4. Applications for Qualified Service Referees, ADF Men’s Open coach and ADF Women’s Open coach should include personal and contact details, service, unit, and relevant qualifications. Referees should provide their Referees Association affiliation and coaches their coaching experience. Applications close on October 2. Referees should email ADFFF Referees Coordinator Mr Garnet Sparkes at garnet.sparkes2@defence.gov.au or call 0407 108 467; and coaches should email ADFFF Director of Coaching WO2 Blaise Fagan at blaise.fagan@defence.gov.au or call (02) 8782 1471.

Basketball competition

THE ACT/Wagga Interservice Basketball Competition will be held in Canberra on September 9-10. From this competition, a men and women’s squad will be selected to represent ACT/Wagga at the nationals in Townsville in December. Personnel interested in representing Army should contact Sgt Lucas Telley at l.telley@adfa.edu.au.
