Tasar tryout
DEFENCE sailors are invited to take part in the 2007 Tasars world championships in Thailand from July 2-11, 2007. ADF Sailing Association intends entering a six-boat combined Services team. Clay target champs
EXPERIENCED clay target or duck shooters are invited to participate in the Victorian Clay Target Championships to be held at HMAS Cerberus on October 25. Entry is open to ARA, Reserves and retired personnel. Members must be posted to a Victorian, Wagga Wagga or Canberra Unit to participate in the event. Netball selection trials
SELECTION in representative squads for the combined services national championships is on the line in the ACT Inter-Service Netball Competition in Canberra on July 25 at a venue to be announced. The competition will consist of women’s, men’s and mixed events. The nationals will be held in Perth in October. Contact Lt Paula Vetter on 0422 815 738 or paula.vetter@defence.gov.au.
Lawn bowls
A COMBINED representative team will be selected for the national championships at the completion of the 2006 ACT/Southern NSW Interservice lawn bowls competition at Queanbeyan Bowling Club on July 26-27. Also, the ASBA National Carnival will be held at Ferny Grove Bowling Club in Brisbane from September 11-15. City to Surf
