Speak to the CA

EARLIER this year, much media attention was paid to the RODUM system.

That system remains a valuable mechanism for both Army and DMO to improve equipment issued to soldiers. However, soldiers may occasionally have other feedback which doesn't strictly belong in RODUM.

For these situations, CA Lt-Gen Peter Leahy recently announced a new web site - Speak to the CA. With a link directly from Army's web site on the DRN, this site will allow soldiers to make criticisms, endorsements and suggestions.

There will be a specific section on clothing and equipment, which is intended to complement RODUM. Another section invites comment on leave, posting, pay, removals and housing. These comments will be reviewed by the CA and his staff and feedback will be provided.

It is intended that these comments will be used to improve Army's practices. By providing this information, soldiers are helping Army's leaders make better decisions.
