ADFA fencers foiled

FIVE members of the ADFA Fencing Club (AFC) were foiled in their gold medial bid in an agonisingly close finish at the ACT foil competition.

The five took the silver medal in the competition against various ACT clubs and universities.

AFC president Cdt Adam Brown said the club hoped to achieve greater success. The AFC caters for all three fencing weapons – foil, epee and sabre – and interested beginners and veterans are encouraged to contact a.brown@student.adfa.au.
