AUSTRALIAN soldiers are currently undertaking formal training in the US on the M1A1 Abrams tank. In the past month, 30 soldiers from Darwin’s 1 Armd Regt, the School of Armour in Puckapunyal and ALTC at Bandiana have deployed to Fort Hood, Texas.
