FredAlluring friend

FRED’S forced retirement has prompted people to send us their fond-of-Fred stories. One former major uses Fred to fish for sooty grunter in the Burdekin and red fin, black fish and carp in eastern inland streams.

He says the cutting swivel comes out and forces the lure to spin under water.

WO2 Tarr, 2RAR, says he’s seen Fred out and about on the town in Townsville.

At the Townsville Entertainment Centre, Fred was helping girls working behind the bar to open cans.
