Iron
grip: Sgt Peter Gerada, 24 MP Pl, practices defensive tactics
with Gunnery Sgt Fred Hildrich, USMC. Australian and US forces'
military police formed a Combined MP Group to operate base security
at Camp Rocky during Exercise Talisman Sabre. The Combined MP
Gp set aside time when ever possible to do a training activity,
ensuring the team operated at their highest level. Sgt Gerada
said defensive tactics were an important skill for MPs and were
useful for other members of the Army. He said the working enviroment
on base was a good as was interaction with people from different
backgrounds and experience.
