1 Armd Regt, as they field fired the M1A1 Abrams tank for the first
time during Exercise Gold Eagle in the US earlier this month.

years ago, on August 18, 1966, Australian servicemen fought the battle
of Long Tan. A party of veterans revisited the scene for a memorial
service on Anzac Day. It's difficult to remember much less return,
as Wendy Moline reports.
