Australian rules

The ADFA Rams Australian Football Club is looking for a coach for its 2005 reserve team and its women’s team. The Rams are also seeking a professional strapper/trainer for the senior team. Interested people are asked to submit a short application outlining suitability for the coaching position as well as attend a brief interview. Kapooka 12s

The 2005 Kapooka 12s Australian rules competition will be held on March 19. The entry fee is $100 a team and registrations close on March 11. Inquiries to WO2 Gary Sutcliffe on (02) 6933 8538 or gary.sutcliffe@defence.gov.au.

Road run
The ADF Running and Athletics Association will host the ADF 10km Road Championship at Holsworthy Barracks on March 18. Categories include men’s and women’s open, veteran men 40-44 yrs, veteran women 35 yrs and over, and masters men 45 yrs and over. Ship to Shore
ADF members are invited to take part in the Ship to Shore 5km run/walk around Garden Island on March 23. Inquiries to LS Nicki Falkner on (02) 9359 2406.
ADF Hockey
ADF Hockey intends entering teams in the 10th Australian Masters Games in Adelaide from October 7-16. The major requirement for entry is to be aged 30 as at December 31, 2005. Detailed information on the 10th AMG is available from the web site at www.australianmastersgames.com.
