The Child Support Agency has released a booklet series for parents going through the process of separation.

The latest released booklet, What About Me?, has been produced with input from parents who have experienced the reality of separation.

CSA General Manager Catherine Argall said the booklet is full of practical advice and tips to help parents going through separation.

“Separation can feel like a dark tunnel, and the children will come through the process in better shape if you take care of yourself emotionally and seek help when you need it,” she said.

“What About Me? can be used by anyone who wants information on looking after themselves and their children during and after separation.”

The five-part booklet series addresses key separation issues, such as the care of children, finance, personal wellbeing, new relationships and dealing with the other parent.

A free copy of the booklet and a list of community service providers can be found at www.csa.gov.au or ordered on 131 272.
