ADF Sport Noticeboard

Cricket

The NSW Interservice Cricket Carnival will be held from October 18-22. Selections will be held on October 7 and 11.

The ADF national cricket carnival will be held in Brisbane from November 14-17.

The Australian Defence Softball association (ADSA) National Championships will be held in Richmond from November 15-19.

Tennis

Tennis NSW is hosting a “Battle of the Badges” Tennis Tournament in appreciation of the service provided by members of the Police, Ambulance and Fire Services, and the ADF. Details of the event can be found at www.tennisnsw.com.au

Kapooka Tens Rugby

The 2005 Kapooka Tens Rugby Tournament will be held at Blamey Barracks, Kapooka, on Saturday March 12, 2005. All units are invited to register teams for the event.

Soccer

The Combined Services Soccer Association 2004 National Soccer Carnival will be held in Sydney from November 8-12.

Trials for the Army open men’s and women’s teams will be conducted at Randwick Barracks from November 1-6.

All interested players, Australian Coaching Council accredited coaches with a Youth Licence as a minimum, team managers and suitably qualified strappers are sought.
