The Army White Water Association (AWWA) is running its 2004 AGM activity weekend on the Mitta Mitta River near Omeo from October 1-3.

The NSW Interservice Cricket Carnival will be held from October 18-22. Selections will be held on October 7 and 11 and training before the carnival.

The ADF national cricket carnival will be held in Brisbane from November 14-17. Selections for the Australian Services Cricket Association (ASCA) squad to tour the UK in July 2005, will take place. The selected ASCA team will play the Queensland Bulls under-19 team at Alan Border Field on November 18 and 19.

Canberra Defence Touch Association with be hosting an inter-area selection trial competition at Duntroon on September 10, starting at about 8.30am.

Successful players will represent the ACT at the 13th ADF Touch Nationals in Amberley in November.

The Australian Defence Softball association (ADSA) National Championships will be held in Richmond from November 15-19.

ADF members selected for the ADSA national teams will also complete in the 2005 Arafura games In Darwin in May 2005.
