Working towards a healthier SDSS

The Standard Defence Supply System has received get well wishes with a program being put in place to fix bugs.

A 2003 upgrade improved several matters at the strategic level, but a program to address broad business and performance functions was needed.

As a result, the SDSS Get Well Program has been launched to ensure Defence has a supply system that is reliable, stable, accurate and useable.

The program will concentrate on six interdependent work streams, giving improved responsiveness for both mainframe and infrastructure and Graphical User Interface, improved accuracy of captured and reported information, greater visibility to identify and resolve software defects and deliver supply and equipment management reports.

Regular updates on the SDSS Get Well Program will be distributed through SDSS Infograms, its Project Management Stakeholder Group and Senior User Group and can be found at http://intranet.defence.gov.au/DMOWeb/sites/SDSSGW.
