The
RAEME team on Op Anode with a fire truck they repaired. The
ASM and his team took on the project to help out the Solomon
Island locals and carried out the task in their spare time.
The soldiers have also helped raise the money needed for spare
parts by throwing a hat around amoung members of the Combined
Task Force.

sad farewell.
Pallbearers and guard from 2HSB carry the late Ted Smout at
the Uniting Church in Sandgate, Brisbane.
Ted was Australia’s oldest WW1 veteran, leaving Australia
just five surviving Great War Veterans.
