Volleyball

The 2004 ADFVA National Championships will be held in Brisbane from November 13-21.

Beach volleyball will be held at Strathpine Beach Volleyball Centre and the indoor volleyball will be held at Boondall.

Biathlon

Nominations and deposits for Exercise Cool Shot are required by July 13.

Soccer

The Australian Army Soccer Football Association is looking for players to compete in the Army men’s and women’s open teams at the NSW/ACT Interservice Carnival.

The Interservice Carnival will be held at RAAF Base Richmond July 6-8.

Rugby League
RAN Rugby League is looking for players for the upcoming World Masters Games from November 6-13 on the Gold Coast.

There will be two sides entered in a nine-a-side team for 30 to 40 year olds and a team in the over 35s in the normal 13-a-side format with a social competitive level.

Kayaking

Expressions of interest are now being sought for a sea kayak adventurous training expedition to be conducted in the waters of south east Tasmania January 7-16, 2005. Ex Tasman Advance 05 will be the second in an annual series of adventurous training activities to be conducted in Australian waters by AWWA.

Full instruction will be given and equipment supplied.

Skiing/snowboarding
The RAAF Alpine Sports Association Championships for 2004 are to be held at Mt Hotham from August 1-8.

The championships cater for all levels of downhill skiers and snowboarders.

The remaining details regarding the championships are yet to been finalised, such as, cost, transport, etc.

Running
ADF Cross-Country Championships Wedensday July 21, at Simpson Barracks Watsonia (Vic).

ADF Marathon Championships Sunday Aug 1, held in conjunction with the Townsville Marathon.
