Photo by Cpl Belinda Mepham, Army newspaper By Leut Stuart Cayzer ON THE completion of competition of the ADF Hockey Championships, Wg-Cmdr Ken Millar, Chairman of ADF Hockey, was proud to announce the players selected to represent the ADF as part of the SAAB ADF Hockey National teams at the Australian Country Championships to be held in Adelaide in late July. Wg-Cdmr Millar was especially proud to announce that a women’s team would compete at the Country Championships as this was unable to be done in 2003, due to insufficient players available to fill a squad. Wg-Cmdr Millar said both squads had the ability of winning the championship. “Each player will now be stepping up their training regime to meet even higher fitness and skill standards prior to the Country Championships,” he said.
