Cry? Not a 110% chance at 5 Bde

By Cpl Cameron Jamieson

It was a slightly different day on the job for the 5 Bde recruiting team when they were asked to make a girl cry.

Fortunately no harm was done because it all happened in the name of TV ratings. Rebecca Wilson, from the TV show 110% Tony Squires, accepted the challenge of attempting the Holsworthy Obstacle Course for an episode of the segment “Make Rebecca Cry”.

Five female members of the recruiting team accompanied Ms Wilson in her epic attempt at martial madness.

One of the accompanying soldiers, WO2 Maria Leetham, said that Ms Wilson threw herself into the challenge, wearing camouflage cream and attempting all obstacles.

“We didn’t know what to expect of her at first,” WO2 Leetham said.

“But she was really down to earth and we had a lot of fun.”

Unfortunately for the recruiting team, Rebecca enjoyed herself so much that she forgot to cry.

Instead there was smiles all round as Ms Wilson stayed afterwards for photos and a chat with her obstacle course comrades.
