RMC-A
Band with the Govenor-General, Maj- Gen Michael Jeffery (rtd),
his wife Marlena, the Chief of the Capability Development Group,
Lt-Gen David Hurley, after the recent presentation of the Governor-General's
Drum Major Staff to the band at Government House, Canberra.
The presentation was made to the Band in recognition of 50 years
loyal and dedicated service to the ADF, RMC-A and the Canberra
community. The band celebrated its Golden Jubilee during May
14 to 16 with a number of activities that included the Granting
of the Freedom Entry to the City of Canberra. The parade marked
an historic occasion for RMC Band and the AABC with the Army
Banner paraded within the ranks of the Band for the first time.
