Issue #1095 22 April 2004

News in Brief

Are you satisfied?

BASE and unit Commanders beware - it's time for a shot at the big BUCCS. ADF personnel will also get a go at a "can't get no satisfaction" survey.

Corporate Services and Infrastructure Group (CSIG) will be conducting a Base and Unit Commanders' Satisfaction Survey (BUCSS) and a National Customer Satisfaction Survey (CSS) during the period May 3 to 14.

The surveys will question services such as personnel administration, building maintenance, catering, cleaning, libraries and information systems.

BUCSS will be distributed to Base and Unit Commanders by e-mail via the DEFWEB. The CSS will be distributed to a random sample of Defence personnel through a combination of e-mail and internal mail. The results will be reported in August 2004.

Motorcycle course

THE ADF Motorcycle Association is running an Off-road Training and Safety Course at the Louee Riding complex near Mudgee NSW.

The course, to be held between May 2 and 8, is designed to improve a rider's off-road abilities, defensive riding skills and obstacle negotiation skills. The course consists of four days of tuition followed by an assessment day.

Instructors from the Stephen Galls Academy of Off-road Riding will supervise.
