100 editions for 'Maintenance News'

By Capt Peter Crosby
CENTENARY celebrations are in order for the Land Engineering Agency's Maintenance News following the release of the 100th edition.

For 25 years it has provided essential information for the care and maintenance of military equipment, drastically reducing equipment repair and replacement costs to the Army in the process.

The newsletter is like a soldiers' five that details the latest maintenance information.

It also provides feedback on concerns raised by equipment users. Maintenance News has proven to be popular with the military's maintainers because it is presented in a format that talks to soldiers, not at them.

Land Engineering Agency is keen for Maintenance News to be read by as many people as possible. Units wishing to be added to the distribution list or have their subscription altered should contact the Technical Publications Librarian, George Edmunds on (03) 9282 7926, or e-mail george.edmunds@defence.gov.au
