Australian Football

The Australian Services Australian Football Association will hold its annual National Interservice Carnival at Manuka Oval in Canberra from April 16-20.

The carnival organiser is Maj Peter Crabbe, who can be contacted on 0412 489 326.

Hockey

The South East Queensland Hockey Carnival will run April 29-30, at Burringbar Park Hockey Complex. This carnival will be the spring board for selecting players to make up the Men's and Women's Queensland Combined Services side to tour Albury June 05-11.

All South East Queensland units are encouraged to enter to compete for the 7 Bde Commander's Cup.

Rugby Union

The Australian Services Rugby Union (ASRU) National Interservice Carnival will be held in Sydney from April 30.

Inline Hockey

With no inline hockey teams in Brisbane, a number of Defence personnel and families have aligned themselves with a Brisbane club at Stafford.

The game is played at all levels from beginners through to national teams, both male and female.

Cpl Robyn Hall is coaching the 10/12s division and we are always seeking more experienced help.

Shooting

CANBERRA District Army Rifle Association invites all Steyr-qualified soldiers, sailors and airmen, regular or reserve, to develop their core skill in an atmosphere of friendly competition at the Duntroon WTSS facility on the first Thursday of every month (except January) starting at 6pm.

Next shoot - Thursday April 1.
