The
revised AIRN policy has been in force since January 12. It
means all soldiers must be deployable at all times and covers
in detail the exemptions which may be granted.

SOLDIERS
will have to be ready for deployment at all times under adjusted
AIRN policy springing from recent experience in preparing personnel
for operations.

Army's infantry battalions will start the new year with 12 more
personnel qualified to supervise assault pioneer operations following
the completion of the School of Military Engineering's only officer/NCO
assault pioneer course last year.
