Merry Christmas and a happy but safe New Year to all our readers from the Army news team - editor David Sibley; sub-editor Lt Simone Heyer; senior reporter Cpl Belinda Mepham; reporters Cpl Damian Shovell, Pte John Wellfare and Andrew Stackpool.

We would like to acknowledge the excellent contribution of two reporters, Cpl Sean Burton, who is leaving the newspaper, and Cpl Alisha Welch, who is on extended leave. Both contributed greatly with their reportage, feature writing, photography, lay-out and eye for detail.

The next edition of Army newspaper will be out on February 12 next year.
