to whip up a ration pack chocolate cake Honiara style.

An
enticing rat pack dessert, as created by Spr Natalie White, Police
and Military HQ for Op Helpem Fren in Honiara. Feeds on section.
- 1
Local Honiara coconut opened with Rover axe or bayonet.
- Shred
coconut with bayonet, clasp knife or own cutting kit.
- 4
packets of ADF Chocolate Ration and steamed in cups canteen over
another cups canteen of hot water on a hexi stove.
- ADF
Chocolate Ration is quite difficult to melt so add 2 packets of
M&Ms and melt to help smooth out the chocolate consistency.
- Add
shredded coconut.
- 3
packets of Scotch Finger biscuits crushed and spread on the inside
of a ration pack lid for biscuit base.
- You
can add sweetened condensed milk to the base if you like.
- Pour
melted ADF Chocolate Ration, M&Ms and shredded coconut over
biscuit layer and than top with one more packet of M&Ms.
- Serve
with coconut milk or ration pack brew.
