Touchy call

THE ADF Touch Association’s (ADFTA) 12th National Championships will be held at RAAF Base Amberley over the period November 27 – December 4.

Nominations are now being sought for combined service representative teams (not unit teams) to compete in womens open, mens open, mens 30s, 35s, 40s, 45s and 50s.

Nominations will close on August 29 and team nominations are to be sent to WO2 Ross Crowe via e-mail at ross.crowe@defence.gov.au or on (07) 3332 7908.

Nominations are also required for a tournament director to run the 2003 ADFTA National Championships. Nominations are to be sent to PO Kel Bryant at kelvin.bryant@defence.gov.au or on (02) 6266 6613.

The successful conduct of the championships is dependent on the provision of referees.

Nominations are sought for referees, with nominations to be sent to WO1 Ken Golden at ken.golden@defence.gov.au or on (02) 9339 2407.

Nominations are also being sought for players, coaches, managers, medical support, tour managers and event coordinators for the 2004 ADFTA tours.
