THE
Army Alpine Skiing Championships will be held at Mt Hotham from
August 3-9. The aim of the week is to develop skills through intensive
coaching and to select an Army team for the Interservice Championships
the following week at Mt Buller. Alpine skiiers and snowboarders

on July 16.

ACT/NSW Interservice male and female soccer carnival will be held
at RAAF Richmond over the period July 8-10. A one-day trial for
interested players will be conducted at RAAF Richmond on July

2003 NSW Interservice basketball competition will be held at Randwick
Barracks from August 6-9. Tryouts for the Army NSW team will be

2003 Canberra Defence Force Touch Association Interservice competition
will be held in August. Dates are yet to be confirmed. The competition

2003 NSW Interservice Lawn Bowls competition will be conducted
at Beresfield Bowling Club (Newcastle), from the August 12-14.
A message with further details and requests for nominations will
be released in June. Also, the national competition is planned
for September 1-5 at Ferny Grove Bowling Club in Brisbane. Any

District Army Rifle Association invites all Steyr-qualified soldiers,
sailors and airmen, regular or reserve, to come and develop their
core skill in an atmosphere of friendly competition at the Duntroon

2003 Defcredit ADF Squash Nationals will be held at RAAF Williamtown
from July 24-28. All full-time and reserve personnel of all standards
are invited to attend the graded competition (so you dont
have to be an expert to have a go). The event will also help select

Combined Services Football Club plays in the Top End Australian
Football Association (TEAFA) Wet Season competition in Darwin.
Combined finished third in the competition last season and won
the flag the season before. We are looking for players/coaches/trainers/runners
and waterboys of all skill level to start pre-season in June this
