THE
Combined Services Football Club plays in the Top End Australian
Football Association (TEAFA) Wet Season competition in Darwin.
Combined finished third in the competition last season and won
the flag the season before. We are looking for players/coaches/trainers/runners
and waterboys of all skill level to start pre-season in June this
year.
Navy/Army/RAAF/civilians
and families are more than welcome at the club that trains on
Tuesday and Thursday with games mostly on Sundays. For any enquires

HMAS
Kuttabul will conduct the annual Oberon Shield Basketball Competition
on July 16 at Five Dock Leisure Centre. The event will be open
to all ADF Personnel, ADF reserves and Commonwealth employees.
The competition will provide personnel throughout the ADF the
opportunity for possible selection into the national squads.

WITH
just over a month to go, the entry record for the 6th annual
ADF Natural Bodybuilding and Figure Titles at HMAS Cerberus
on June 23 has been eclipsed. As of May 5, 15 entries have been
received, with 11 males and four females. As per previous years,
we should get more entries in during the last two to three weeks
before the competition. Entries so far: Army-7, Navy-6, Air
Force-2; NSW-8, QLD-3, VIC-2, WA-1, NT-1. Entry details and

THE
annual ADF Inter-Service Fishing Championship will be held from
October 17-19 out of Darwin. Further details from the website

THE
Central Region Military Golf Championships will be conducted from
July 13-15 at the Vines Golf Club, Reynella over 72 holes. Entry
fee is $45, which includes all green fees and presentations. Entry

THE
9th Australian Masters Games is to be held in Canberra from
October 31 November 9, with the ADF Hockey Association
entering teams again this year. The major requirement for entry
is to be old enough, and for hockey this is 30 years of age
at December 31, 2003. Last year three teams (two mens
and one womens) competed in the World Masters Games in
Melbourne and it is hoped the same numbers can be achieved for
the Australian Masters. Detailed information is available from

HMAS

on June 11 at the Sydney Arena in the State Sports Centre, Olympic
Boulevard, Sydney Olympic Park. The event will be open to all

ACT Veterans Rugby is set for another season for players wishing
who have seen their glory days but would still like to play rugby.
