THE ADF Running and Athletics Association will conduct the 2003 State Teams Half Marathon Championship in conjunction with the Canberra Half Marathon on Sunday May 18. Australian football

THE Australian Services Australian Football Association’s national combined services side will play a curtain-raiser at the Sydney Cricket Ground on Anzac Day against a combined Australian Federal Police/NSW Fire Brigade team. This is part of the Sydney Swans’ commitment to supporting footy in the ADF, with their match against Melbourne following the curtain-raiser at 3.50pm. Half-price tickets to Defence members.

Bodybuilding

THE 6th annual ADF Natural Bodybuilding and Figure Titles will be held at HMAS Cerberus on June 23, featuring divisions for all ADF permanent and reserve personnel and Defence civilians. Golf

Running

THE Lest We Forget Run will be held in more than 60 locations throughout Australia on Sunday, April 27. The 8km distance (5 miles) is in recognition of the distance our Anzac heroes were required to secure at Gallipoli. Enquiries to 1300 737 437 or admin@lestweforget.com.au
