Truck deal to save
$1 million

Memorial to
Kapyong
Melbourne: A 25-tonne Army semi-trailer left Melbourne this month on a million-dollar mission.
This is the amount the Army expects to save if the mission – a four-month lease-hire contract with Hertz Australia – is a success.
The first three leased trucks were handed over at the Swan Street Barracks, in Melbourne.
A STIRRING ceremonial parade, a memorial scholarship and a memorial tabernacle marked the 12th anniversary of the crucial Battle of Kapyong for the 3rd Battalion, Royal Australian Regiment, on their parade ground near Brisbane last week.
With dignified ceremony 3RAR remembered their fallen.
