Development
camps essential training
AARU
Development and Safety Camps are being conducted in 2003 by the
Army National coaches and will cover individual skills and safe
rugby.
The
development camps are for both male and female players of all levels
of skill and experience.
All
current national level players are expected to attend the development
camp nearest to them
As
part of the AARU safe rugby program, all unit and brigade coaches
are to attend.
Any
coaches who are unable to attend are to notify AARU Development
Officer Capt Tom Wall via email on tom.wall@ defence.gov.au and
make alternate arrangements for safety training.
Non-attendance
by coaches at camps may impact on their involvement at unit/brigade
level rugby activities.
Attendees
are to notify their intention to attend the development camps to
the point of contact for the camp that they are attending no later
than three working days prior to the camp.
Units
are required to provide messing and accommodation for their members
if required
Camps will run from 8am until 3.30pm.

will also be a development game in Townsville on Sunday May 25.
