Keeping
informed
DURING
the posting cycle for 2002-03, Doctrine Wing, LWDC, had a significant
increase in military staff and is expecting a much-expanded capacity
to draft new doctrine publications.
The
Doctrine Validation Cell has also been established, allowing a program
of doctrine validation to commence. This sections initial
focus will be on the validation of Developing Doctrine. Staff Vacancies
in the section will not allow the validation of procedural level
doctrine in the foreseeable future.
The
following publications were signed since the last Its Doctrine
column appeared in November:
- Guardroom
and Detention Procedures (publication number LWP-G 0-1-8).
- The
Armed Reconnaissance Helicopter (publication number LWP-G 3-3-6
Part 2).
- Employment
of Engineers (publication number LWP-G 3-6-1).
- Grenades
and Pyrotechnics (publication number LWP-G 7-4-42).
- Hand
Carriage (publication number LWP-SIG 6-2-1)
- Land

- Recovery

- Weapon
