THE winners of four 2002 Defence/American Field Services (AFS) Scholarships have been announced.

Later this year award recipients Erin Davey, Christopher Duitsch, Barron Platen and Rebecca McCrae will find themselves in countries as far-off as Bolivia as part of the international exchange.

AFS Intercultural Programs has been awarding the scholarship for more than 50 years, providing the opportunity for the children of Defence employees to live and study in one of 55 countries for one year.
