Heritage on show in desk calendar

A desk calendar has been developed to increase awareness of Defence heritage by presenting images of some the ADF’s most important and recognisable landmarks.

Director of Corporate Services and Infrastructure Group’s Defence Heritage Area Brian Grandin said the calendar showcases some of Defence’s most significant heritage assets.

Places of special significance to the Services have been chosen, as well as natural and indigenous heritage locations.

“It is hoped that this calendar will achieve several aims – increase awareness of Heritage Management’s role, stimulate interest and appreciation of Defence’s heritage assets and increase understanding of Defence’s heritage obligations and opportunities,” he said.
