I would like to take this opportunity to share with you some of my insights as CO SCMA into soldier career management as it functions within the Army. These insights are intended to provide you with a greater understanding of how SCMA staff approach their career and personnel management responsibilities, and the part you are expected to play.

The Army separation rate continues to decline from a peak of 13.42 per cent in June 2001, to the December 2002 rate of 10.54 per cent.
