Op Bastille

How to send mail to personnel in the Middle East

If you need to send mail to a mate or family members deployed on Op Bastille, here are some handy hints.

Parcels that weigh under 1kg are free. Break down a package into kilo lots or pay the full cost for parcels that are more that 1kg.

Lodge your mail with your ID card for faster delivery to Op Bastille.

A number will be marked on the package declaring that the package has been inspected by AFPO.

Correctly and fully complete the customs declaration form that is required on all overseas parcels.

If you have any enquires about mail going to friends and family on Operation Bastille, don’t hesitate to ask your local AFPO – they are friendly and ready to help.
