Service conditions for Op Bastille

CONDITIONS of service applicable to ADF personnel deployed on Op Bastille are the same as those developed for Op Slipper, according to a signal from Australian Defence Headquarters.

CDF has assigned force elements concurrently to both operations.

This qualifies deployed members for an allowance of $125 per day, in addition to any special action forces, flying, seagoing, hard lying or field allowances that may apply.

Other conditions of service include tax exemption, war service leave, enhanced home loan provisions and coverage under the Veterans’ Entitlement Act for repatriation and compensation.
