No leave lost with PMKeyS

All Army personnel are reminded that recreation leave is subject to leave lapsing provisions; PACMAN 8.1.16 refers.

This means that every July 1, rec-leave awarded three years earlier and not yet taken will be forfeit.

While exceptions to the rule are permitted, such cases must be presented through the chain of command to DGPERS-A for consideration.

Orderly rooms and CSI organisations responsible for the administration of Service leave should run the PMKeyS leave lapsing report no later than February.

Members at risk of losing leave are to be given timely notification to clear leave before the end of the leave year.

PMKeyS leave operators are advised that the current leave lapsing report is correct as at July 1, any confirmed leave taken in the current leave year must be deducted from the figure on the report to determine the actual number of days at risk of lapsing.

Note: leave with a status of submitted is not included in the leave lapsing report. With the next software release scheduled for March 10, the leave lapsing report will report as at current date, not the start of the leave year.
