Handbook on ethics given to leadership

THE launch of an ethics handbook late last year serves to remind Defence members from the top down of the importance of ethics in the workplace.

The handbook is intended as a guide on ethical behaviour and aims to promote ethical standards and practices in management across the ADF.

Minister Assisting the Minister for Defence Danna Vale launched the book, saying it was vital all members of the ADF entrusted with equipment or funds were aware of what is expected of them.

The purpose of the Ethics Handbook is to provide members of the ADF with guidance on what constitutes ethical behaviour within their workplace responsibilities.

Copies of the handbook are being sent to all members of the Senior Leadership Group, Directors and Commanding Officers.
