Career Advisers (CA) will once again travel in early 2003 providing officers with the opportunity for personal career interviews.

CA lieutenant-colonels will travel during the period March – April and specific details will be advised separately.

Details of the DOCM-A Career Adviser visits for all lieutenants – majors interviews by location are:

  • Darwin February 10 – 14
  • Townsville February 17– 21
  • Brisbane / Canungra February 24 – 28

  • ACT March 24 – April 4

Officers who have not heard location and timing details of the CA’s visit, one week prior to the visit, should call the CA Assistant who can advise locations for interviews.

Prior to career interviews, officers should become familiar with the Army Office Position List, Corps Career Management Guides and Career Structure Charts on the DOCM-A web page.

Officers who have not completed an AD148-2 Employment Preferences and Restrictions – Army in 2002, are encouraged to do so prior to their career interview and give the AD148-2 to their CA at the interview.

Assessing officers should note that PAR are to be submitted to DOCM-A NLT October 15, 2003, for all majors eligible for ACSC PAC consideration in 2003, for ACSC attendance in 2005.

To maximise the discussion with their CA regarding future career plans, captain cohorts 98 and 99 are to have completed the Career Review that was distributed to them in July 02.
