CAPTION COMPETITION

If you can think of a clever, witty caption to this picture, send your entry by e-mail to armynews@defencenews.gov.au (remember to send it sec: unclassified) with caption competition in the subject line. Keep entries under 25 words. Entries will not be accepted after February 21 and must include the sender’s name, rank, unit and location. The winning entry will be published in the February 27 edition. If you would like to submit a picture for Say Again, Over, please e-mail a high-resolution picture at 300dpi or post it to Army news, R8-LG-037, Russell Offices, Canberra, ACT, 2600. The winners will receive a copy of Alamein: The Australian Story, which is part of the Australian Army History series from Oxford University Press, courtesy of the Army History Unit.

Last year’s competition began in September and attracted plenty of entries from Army units spread across Australia and overseas on deployment.
Army newspaper desperately needs your funny, unusual or bizarre photos for this year’s competition. Photos with some military aspect to them are preferred.
If enough photos are submitted by Army personnel or units, a prize will be arranged for the best photo, as judged by Army newspaper’s staff.
