If you have been injured as a result of your military employment or have a condition that was aggravated by your military employment, you could be eligible for benefits ranging from lump sum payments for permanent impairment to assistance with finding civilian employment.

  • For further information or for a claim form, MCRS can be contacted on 1300 131 945.

Plenty of help at hand

DEFENCE families with specific needs, such as children with learning difficulties, can now get more assistance with the launch of an information kit that details services in each posting locality.
The FACT Information Sheets provide information for families either about to be posted, or who have just arrived in a new area.
The FACT sheets include topics such as gifted and talented children, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder and school services, as well as information on local support groups that can assist families to settle into their new home.

Data storage boosted

DEFENCE’S data storage needs are to get a boost with the announcement of a $20 million project covering 150 sites in the next three years.
The new solution will result in lower support and logistic costs, reduced complexity in the development of a common software environment, less training costs and increased data security and availability.

CadetNet fires up

ADF cadets across Australia can now go online with the launch of their new internet site, CadetNet.
With more that 26,000 cadets, this new system will free up valuable administration time for Cadet officers and instructors.
