THE
holy grail of armoured corps rugby union, the Adjutants
Cup, has gone full circle by returning to the 2 Cav Regt
in Darwin after 12 years absence.

LIVERPOOL
Military Area (LMA) soldiers competed in the annual area
triathlon last month. The event aimed to encourage unit
rivalry as the last major sporting event of the year and
to determine the champion triathlon unit within the LMA.

3CSSB make waves and wins

A
brave female swimmer makes her way to the starting
blocks at the recent 3 Bde Swimming Carnival at Lavarack
Barracks, Townsville.
The Swimming Carnival, the final event in the 2002
3 Bde Commanders Trophy, was won by 3CSSB, followed
by 2RAR, with 1RAR third.
Champion
male swimmer was Pte Luke Woodland. Pte Sarah Adamson
won champion female both are from 3CSSB.

Shooters
gather for Remembrance Day
WHILE
the Poms were being roundly thrashed in the first test in
Brisbane, Lee Enfield and more than 30 of his best mates
ventured out in Canberras sun to send a few .303 projectiles
down range and to remember those who didnt come home.

is a winner
RUNNERS
from Sydney, Newcastle, Richmond, Holsworthy, Albatross
and Canberra and including Navy, Army, Air Force, Defence
civilians, Sydney Harbour Trust and the NSW Emergency Services
competed in the HMAS Penguin Gate-to-Gate Fun Run last month.
