Career charts map future

Annual Career Guidance cannot be distributed to officers this year due to the lack of required functionality within PM Keys.

Corps Career Management Guides and Career Structure Charts assist with individual career development.

They outline the various career paths for an officer from lieutenant to lieutenant colonel by corps and Military Staff Stream specialisation.

Topics covered in the Career Management Guides include corps personnel structure, corps employment, corps training and career management.

The Career Structure Charts provide a graphic representation of the Career Management guides.

These are available on the DOCM Web Page through the following link. Website address is as follows:

ADF Employment preferences and restrictions
AD 148 (Employment Preferences and Restrictions) should be completed by officers and submitted in electronic format with an officer’s PAR to DOCM.

Unlike the PR19, the current PAR does not enable officers to indicate geographic preference, unit preference, volunteer status for employment opportunities, posting and personal considerations.

The AD 148 is the primary means for officers to formally record career management preferences.

The AD 148 submitted electronically to DOCM will be imported into PM Keys and is directly searchable by career advisers.
