Hahn named in ASCA

ARMY had just one player selected in the Australian Services Cricket Association (ASCA) side to play two games against the Queensland under-19s and also for the Byrnes Sears Trophy against the New Zealand Defence Force.

Cfn Jason Hahn, 2 RAR, a medium-pace bowler and middle order batsman, was selected as an all-rounder in the 13-man side that included nine Air Force and three Navy players.

Other awards were also presented during a formal presentation for the national carnival at the function room of the Queensland Cricket Association's Allan Border Oval.

Queensland Cricket Association president John Forrest was thanked for his support of the national carnival by providing first-class facilities, as was the New Zealand Defence Force team for its high standard.
